A Walk To Remember

"I think you know what I'm going to say .. " he said looking really terrified.

"Ummm la madrii .. 7atan ana 6ol il yom kint ga3ed afakir bil mawthoo3 ili tabi itkalimny 3anaa .." she answered.

It was a chilly night.. She started shivering while sitting on a bench, waiting anxiously to know why he brought her here, in the middle of a park. As she looked into his eyes she wasn't sure exactly what he was going to say. He looked terrified.

She began quiver as she waited patiently for him to start talking. Instead he took off his sweater gave it to her so she would get warm.

"Shfeek 9arlina 15 min. wint sakit.. Are you ok? You are like a brother to me .. so I don't want you to hesitate or have second thoughts about talking to me "she said.

"Adri adri .. bs 9a3ib agoolich" he said, "I find it hard to express my emotions on a typical day fa tikhayilay al7een itha bagoolich shay mohim .."

"Shd3waa it's me .. you know me .. I'm the least person that will make you uncomfortable" she said.

His face was pale .. He started to fidget, tapping his feet while they were sitting .. He did anything to occupy himself from her. She was really confused. Many questions began to pop into her head about what the conversation would be about!

"Laish tabi itkalimny tharoory itha bes ga3id sakit?" she asked with a concerned tone of voice.

"Tadreen ina intay insana 3azeeza 3indy ou kil yom ma3zitich itzeed" he said while his cheeks turned red and his hands began to sweat.

"Shd3waa moo kalam yideed .. mithil ma int okho 3azeez 3indi .. adrii ina ana akeeda ikhit thanya lik" she said energetically; trying to break the tension that was going on.

"Yala goly shino salfitik .. I will help you! How bad did you screw up this time!? You know I will never judge you fa bala hal laf wil dawaran and just say it" she insisted.





"I didn't do anything wrong .. I'm in love with you .." he blurted out.

Her heart started pounding like drums.. She was caught off guard .. Everything went BLANK.

Why is it not ok for a girl to go sleepover at her friends house bidoon ta7qeeq and begging?
Why it that il bint il 'san3a' kila bil bait?
Why is that if you love to go out just for the sake of having fun they automatically label you as hayta?
Why is that we have to be home early while guys stay up til morning?

I don't understand this society .. SO MANY RESTRICTIONS I CAN'T KEEP UP WITH!
This what I have to say.. One day I will die .. and I don't want regret not doing anything bes 3ashan arthy il nas .. I don't think hal nas give a damn about my happiness so why should I do all that JUST to get approval from them ..

One Missed Call ...

Lama we parked at the dvd place shifna this car .. bab wa7ed .. ou kanat imghayma .. their were two guys infront ou we spotted a girl ga3da wara ..

Fa my cuzz started screaming "umbaaay shoofeeha .. the girl minkhasha bes she shows .. shofeeha ..! "

il ligafa minzar3a feeny .. fa i decided to take a look ..

Then me and my cuz decided to put the music on while waiting for our dvds .. All of a sudden I see something blinking on the screen of the car *Sweetheart Calling* .. WTF !!! Then we hear this deep voice saying "Aloo ? Aloooo?"

Waihy bida yingilib alwan .. 7asaiit nafsy ib punk'd! il moshkilaa this weird voice was haunting our speakers bil sayara ! ..

I turned down the volume .. ou the SHIT-HEAD'S voice was still their !! Chan faja I see this button 3ala il sikan that has a picture of a phone with the red color (nafs the one u'd see on a mobile phone) .. Ou i kept on pressing it to close it ..

I coudn't figure out how to turn off the bluetoothe ib kobra so that pressing that button .. Bes 3abalkom they'd geth the point .. LA ! lail7een they kept on doing it .. ou we still couldn't figure out min waiin it was coming from..

We started to loook around, and we found out that those guys were doing it (the guys w/ the girl)... But how !?!?

But when I checked, in order for you to talk to me with the bluetoothe thingy .. you have to enter a pin code .. WHICH MEANS THEY HACKED IT ..

Rambling Thoughts

These past days I have been the ultimate definition of a COUCH POTATOE !



So let me guide you through this sad saaad saaaaaaaad journey ! It consists of eating .. eating .. hmm and EATING ! As I was doing that ... many thoughts began to pop in my head. So here it goes ...



We cannot neglect that most of us have been influenced by westernization. We'll I am not going to generalize .. but for me all I watch, read, listen to, etc. is something from the west. So basically I have this image of independence and freedom later on in the years. I can picture myself waking up in MY apartment .. going to eat breakfast while i'm on the way to work .. basically something close to the scenes we see from Sex and the City.



And here comes the climax to the story .. WE CERTAINLY CANNOT! Why?

Because tradition forbids anything close to that .. I'm not a rebel or anything .. But I feel as if I have a lived in a fantasy of westernization and just when I got too used it .. Someone poked that bubble and wants me to alter the way I live .. I feel confused .. like I dont belong here ..

Help ! .. Anyone ?

Newcomer

Sooo .. a couple of months ago my cousin started talking about how she got addicted to the mysterious world of blogging. I didn't even know how blogs worked ! 7ady thay3a .. bes ham min ligafty I just had to know what's so addictive about it. Kilma aroo7 bait'hom I would see her glued to the screen .. and I mean GLUED ! She was either laughing hysterically or anxiously waiting to read a new post.

So I guess you know where i'm heading with this story .. I GOT ADDICTED !

Seriously ... ma9adig ina now I have friends who I have been stalking for months now .. who probably do not even know I EXIST !

To make the story short ... I am here now .. making my way through this borderless world .. to get to know my new cyber-family !
